Are the futures of ouboards, PWCs and snowmobiles similar?

Back to the basic question. Are the future of these vehicle linked? I would have to say that just about any two stroke play vehicle would have to be included in this discussion.
The enviromentalist seem focused on two strokes of any flavor. I love the idea of choices and actually hate to have to be restricted to any one flavor of engine.
I whole heartedly endorse Bombardier's E tech outboard motors and to a lesser degree their new direct injected snowmobile engines. I like their thinking and I would expect to see some variation of these motors in more mountain specific sleds. As 2006 emissions loom on the horizion manufacturers will have to either sh!t or get off the two stroke pot. I think Yamaha got off early to limit its potential loses from putting development money into yet another direct injected engine that they could potentially never recoupe their expenditures form developing.
I would expect to see Skidoo's portion of the mountain sled pie increase due to their innovative thinking and potentially being the only kid on the block willing to field the technology to take them beyond 2006. PB

not to split hairs either but a 3 db increase doesn't double the perceptible sound.......it takes double the power to achieve a 3 db increase.example being a sound system with 100 watts of power will make only 3 db more than one with 50 watts..........god i hate summer :yam: lmao
