Does anyone know if yamaha has addressed the overheating issues with this machine?Are there any upgrades or updates that are covered by the warranty?

None that my dealer is aware of. I did get a rear heat exchanger even thou I didn't have any issues last season. As soon as I get my Boss seat I'll install both at the same time.

I had a couple occurences, when racing across some lakes my machine would suddenly bog and lose power.The outside air temp was fairly warm
around 32F.It also happened in low snow conditions when running a frozen river.Are you installing a viper heat exchanger?Thanks again for your response.
