I think the Nytro is the best handling sled Yamaha has. But it does require a different riding style than the apex and phazer or any other 2smoke. It carves very easy and seams to work best standing up and riding like a dirt bike stradling the seat. It reacts to very subtle body movement. If you jump from side to side the sled will over react and flop on its side all day.
If you are new to 4 strokes, the other big key is to learn throttle control!!!!!!!! Be SMOOTH with the throttle! Even with the engine braking reduction on the Nytro, it still loads the skies on deceleration more than a 2 stroke. Most people that are having trouble carving turns on demo rides are chopping the throttle right as they find the balance point which loads the inside ski and tucks it under the sled. No amount of suspention tuning can compensate for the lack of throttle control. It takes some time to get used to the sled and to change your riding style.

Powered up with skis in the air is a different story as the front end has no effect. I have a 162 X 16 and 15lbs boost
Sly, I told you about the steering post mod but it was ignored. Its makes the steering and handling waaaaaaayyy better! You move the top of the post forward about two inches making the post more vertical.(not with a pivot risor, I still use the stocker and its great with this mod!)Romve your top clamp of the steeriing post then move it forward so that the rear bolt goes in the front hole. You then have to fab up two pieces of alluminum, drill a hole in them and tie it all together.(You'l know what I mean when you take it apart and do this) Also now that your steering post is more vertical, down at the bottom of it you'll have to bend up the bottom mount a bit with a big pipe wrench or something (Sounds crude but Its a must!)

Ken ya got any pics, maybe wildchild should be informed and he can make a "nice" kit for the Nytro. The bars are too low for me, I want them higher.
