stupid question is there anyway of telling wether they are the ARP head studs or stock head studs (2006 apex) I bought the new ARP head studs a couple seasons ago and last season I gave the motor to someone to finish installing the top end, for the motor back and it never ran (found out the valve timing was set to the wrong side of motor tdc so 180 deg out) took it all apart again to fix and fig when I was in there doing that I would get rid of the shim and install the low comp pistons) anyway I am now questioning wether or not if the new head studs I gave to him where ever installed

Usually the arp head studs have a place for allen head wrench in the top of them , the stockers dont
