My buddy has an 06 attack, and has put me in charge of making him happy with his rear suspension. He rides it like a 18 year old snocross racer. Wide open all the time, doesn't matter how big the bumps get, loves to jump everything and anything. Now I know he most likely bought the wrong sled for his riding style but he doesn't ask me before he buys things, he just does it. He doesn't have the money to get a new sled, and he doesn't really want to.

So my questions is, can I get the mono suspension to handle this idiot? The big boy spring and a stiff shock revalve or maybe a triple rate spring or something? Or I've considered a skid swap for a ski-doo suspension of some sort. Possibly the M10 airwave. He mentioned possibly letting me spend up to $1500 if I wait til this summer when he is back to work.

Thanks for any advice

also, he bent the transfer rod two weeks ago, destroyed the whole thing. No idea how he managed that but he is just riding it without...yeah it wheelies like crazy. I guess it doesn't hurt it to ride without it cause we put on 450 miles and everything is a-ok still. Anyone got a used one by any chance?

how do you like the pro-x suspension in the apex? is that a noticeable improvement over the stock rtx suspension? I wouldn't be against throwing a poo suspension in there

Tough to beat is about the best way I can describe it. This sled often gets the tar beat out of it and it has yet to break a part. I blew a shock seal once, but that was my fault...

I burnt a set of Hyfax out, but that was riding in spring conditions with no idler wheels on the rails. Lesson learned, so I installed 4, haven't replaced hyfax since.

There is no comparison between the ProX and Proactive suspension. Set the ProX up to beat it, or cruise with it. Once this was done, I had the suspension I thought I was getting when I bought the sled....

And parts, including aftermarket, are cheap and available anywhere.
