TY 4 Stroke Master
My buddy's kid just rolled his 06 apex/attack. It has a 136 rear skid. He found an 06 apex mountain frame from a guy that just took the engine and rear skid for his own sled. I was wondering if everything would swap from the rolled sled (apex 136")to the mountain sled. I would think that everything should they are the same year but his is a 136"skid and the other is a mountain. Could the 136 skid be installed into the mountain sled? I realize that there would be some tunnel sticking out but he doesn't care, he just wants to salvage the old sled and get a sled running for as cheap as possible.

Swap away brother! The only thing that will need some manufacturing would be the rear suspesion mounting locations. Take measurements from the drive axle and top of tunnel to find your center points for drilling hole to mount the 136 skid in there. You will also have to drill out and move the mounting brakcets before drilling. Plenty of work to do. Get rolling, winters only so long.
