i have a 2007 attack gt and just recently i have not been able to select the shock mode on the gauge cluster, would this be a switch issue in the cluster? and does that mean the entire cluster would need to be replaced?

it is probly the wires at the shock being pulled out. check the wiring at the shock very closely for them being pulled out. if theres a issue the ecu wont change to shock mode. lots of posts about this maybee a search would help too.

Most likely is a wire issue. I've dealt with that same issue on my 07 Attak GT for years. I'm actually am having mine converted to a clicker for compression and rebound. Just tired of fighting the broken EC wire.

Check where the wire follows the w arm and enters into the top of the shock. The break is usually there next to the black solenoid on top of the shock. it's usually a pull out, wire flat out broke, or broken solenoid.

However, if your wire and solenoid are fine, try plugging your shock into another Apex and make sure it's not your guage. There was a guy on here very recently where the issue was a broken guage, not the wire. Read these:

Now that being said, 98 out of a 100 times is is the wire or the solenoid. Run a search on broken EC wire or something equivalent and you can reads on and on about issues guys have had. The wire can't take the abuse of all the snow and ice being churned around inside the skid.

A cool mod would be sheathing the wire inside a steel braided cable or some other type of shielding to protect the wire and the solenoid in the skid. Like i said above, i gave up on the EC gimmik and am paying bjowett to remove my Ohlins EC solenoid on my Ohlins and installing a top clicker.
