I am at a point where I am coming down to making a purchase. My choices are the Apex ER or the Attak. My only problem is that I am hearing conflicting information. Some say the Attak fits perfectly in a 10' enclosed straight front trailer. The dealer is saying that the trailer needs to be 10.5'. My trailer is a Haulin 8.5'x10' with a Sno Pro enclosure. I also have a 2003 RX-1 that will be in the trailer with the new sled. What do you think, can I get an Attak in the trailer, or will I need to go with the Apex ER?
I guess I can take the trailer to the dealer and try the Attak if all else fails!!

Take the trailer to your dealer and try it for yourself, the attak is much more fun than the er IMO i know i rode both in side by side comparisions and had the rx warrior for comparision, wow did that sled seem dated compared to the attak, people will tell ya the warrior pushes in turns, yes it does they are correct, but they will try and tell you the attak does to,that only conferms my belief that they never test rode the new attak, because it does not push at all,it rails, and again IMO better than the apex ER we had to test aganist, that is why i changed my order to the attak,do what you want, but i would try to fit it in my tailer, good luck.

Does anyone know for sure that the Attak will fit in a 10' trailer with a flat nose?
I think I can get it to fit, but I guess I'll have to try it.

it fits, its tight but it fits without any rubbing..i have a sno-pro enclosed trailer and an attak sitting in my garage that i picked up at nelsons speed shop which is about 2.5 hrs away and i didnt have any issues with bringing it home, if you want the attak, get it, im not sure why these people are saying it wont fit, i think sometimes people like to spout off without trying it first..

I never said it would not fit every trailer with cap is different and as close as it is only loading on his trailer will give the correct answer, everything else is speculation. My main concern on 101" trailers is the cap pivot on the front on the floor, other than Floe, that reduces the width by 3/4 inches at the ski. If both sleds have Simmons skis forget it. That is why i went Inline.

yeah i understand that, but he said he has a sno-pro, which is the same trailer i have.
I have a Sno-Pro 10' It is a flip top with the rear door I think it is a 2003. My Attack fit it was close a couple inches maybe 3" behind the bumper. You have to pull it way forward but it fits.

By pulling the sled all the way forward I wonder how much additional weight you are putting on the tongue? He has a sno-pro cap, many confuse the trailer by going by the trailer manufacturer rather than the cap manufacturer.

Thanks for all the feedback!! I am working the dealers in my area. I think I will end up with an Attak for somewhere between $9300 and $9600.

Greenmachine, If you have to worry about trailer tongue weight from snowmobiles you better get a real tow vehicle.
