track for 06 attak

I am looking for a larger track for my attak. i ride mostly cross country, and up to 2' powder. looking to replace the stock 1.25 ripsaw.
Has anyone tried the 1.75 ripsaw? it may be too new. also does anyone have any insight on the challenger tracks. i think the challenger may be what i want in the powder, but how will it handle some cross-country riding?? and handle on the cross-country handling?

Thanks!

You may want to check out the Cobra as well. Avatar was taken in about 24" of unpacked heavy snow. It's a 121" sled, and that's a standing start.

Do a search on Cobra, you'll see many are pretty impressed with it. Much of the beauty with this track is that it let's you stay 1.25"....

I have a 1.5 Crossover on mine... but it's a 144 LOL! I am pretty happy with it. Good trail manners and goes like stink in the UP sugar snow. I'll be purchasing another axle with 8 tooth drivers so I can run a 2.25 or 2.5 when going West. Run the 1.5 here at home and the UP and WI.

The higher the lug height, the more trouble you will have with hyfax wear, on the hard-packed snow. Also, the higher lugs tend to take a beating on hard-pack. Vibration tends to increase on hard-pack, with higher lugs, too. You may want to consider figuring out how much you'll be riding hard-pack, weigh it all, and then make a choice.

I switched to a Cobra 1.325 track last year because i do alot of off trailling..

That track works way better off trail than the ripsaw does..

I did not experience any more wear on sliders than i did with the Ripsaw..

Hope this helps..
