At 15 psi ,how many used the dalton spring b/green with preload 57 and 129 total force .What was your engagement at with heavy hitters about 75 grams,THANKS

Ted Jannetty used that primary spring together with Supertips weights, contact him for details. I have that spring but have not tested with it yet, but Ted told he had good result with the Dalton Green 57/129.

With the stock w-s-w primary spring & 58 gram hh.s loaded to 72 grams at 10 pounds boost I saw about 3200 rpm engagement.

My bad; i am in the middle of helping about 53 guys clutch their sleds right now & my brain is jello. Running the y-s-y spring.

Ted can you tell me what your engagement was with this setup,THANKS

OK this is a strain on my brain, but as I can remember I think it was about 4800, I don't think I ever ran that light of weight with the heavy hitters and the turbo.
I think I was more like 80 grams.

I really like that spring because it has a low finish, high finish springs will slip the belt.

I am running it with the Supertips and 86 grams and the engagement is 4400.

The Supertips have more mass around the pin and grab the belt better especially with the higher engagement springs.

With the Heavy Hitters and a High start pressure the belt slips real bad when you try and load it on the trailer or smash the gas, I was banging the rev limiter pretty bad until I switched to Supertips.

Everything has its place I am not bashing any products and I chose the heavy hitters for trail and lake naturally aspirated or rear mount turbo applications that don't have a lot of power on engagement.

Either way I can make almost anything work to my advantage.

I have since Had Mark at Supreme Tool ( maker of Supertips ) machine my clutch to accept TRA springs and Now I have a lot more choices, this is good for me but could be confusing for others :tg:

Ted; if you use the heavier heavy hitters(base 68 grams or heavier) they grab the belt a lot better down low then using the 48 gram ones & adding a lot of bolts & screws. The 58 gram hh,s are very thick around the pin & really pull a lot harder down low then the 48 gram hh,s.

I never used the 48 gram HH I used what they called 60 gram base weights.
