Warmed up my motor this morning to check a few things. After a couple of minutes lots of blue smoke out the exhaust. Probable seal on the exhaust side of the turbo. May need a cartridge to fix it. Anyone know the least expensive source for a 28R cartridge. Guess it will have to be next time. Stan

I doubt it, if that is a rear mount you pump stopped running, if it is a front mount your breather is plugged.

Ted It is a front mount. Black plastic breather lt side of motor that is part of the evac to the filter on the compressor housing? Take apart and clean or replace? No smoke for first 5 minutes. Compressor side and tube to intercooler light residual oil not heavy. Where is the oil going to be burnt if the breather is blocked? Thanks Stan

When the Crank case breather is not open to the atomosphere, the turbo will not drain properly, also make sure you don't have a kink in your drain line.
The seals are metal in the turbo and will leak if not draining properly.
That is why I doubt it is a seal problem.
The oil goes in to the turbine housing and out the exhaust.
I did a quick test last year with my sled idling, I put my finger over the crank case breather and my sled started to smoke like a Frieght train.
Take a real good look at everthing I mentioned.
Ted.
