looking for more backshift, less freewheeling into corners

the sled free wheels into corners, has no secondary backshift to hold rpms (engine braking)

i like the engagement and accelleration but tight trails in the 20 to 40mph range i have to use the brakes way more than on any other sled i have owned. i dont want to change any primary clutch parts but possiblya helix and spring suited for aggressive corner to conrer riding

I think it will make you slower but if you want better backshift and maybe a bit more engine braking put a roller on the secondary.

You could increase the degree of twist on the 2ndary. I believe the viper are delivered at 6 + 1 = 7 x10 = 70 degree. Try 6 and 2 . Easy enough to try at no cost but may let your RPM go higher before upshifting.
But some on here know a lot about clutching and will likely direct you to a clutch kit or parts.

What about switching the rollers to 14.5 and going 10 more degrees on the secondary. Or if you have the $$$ switch weights to 8BU's they shift fast!

back shift

We rode Sat up in the Chippawa national forest and riding through thd twisties from 20 to 45 mph hardly had to touch my brakes to make aggresive turns. Let off the throttld the front end would dive and stock carbide juzt cut in and did its job. Guys riding on my a__ didnt like me cause in the berries they go cause I seldom used brakes and came into corner to hard. This thing juxt loves the cornering and straight aways.
