Powertrail, XS 825 belt, stock weights up front, 35/39 dalton with orange TP secondary spring @ 40. Runs great very smooth engagement with very clean clutches. Rpms @8800. After running over 500 miles in Canada last week I would like a little more backshift in the 30-70mph area. Should I increase my wrap 10 degrees or should I go back to the stock 35 helix? Don’t want to kill my efficiency too much.

Are weights 19/20 or 17/18?

If you had adjustable weights you lighten the heel. Wrapping more will help but it may hurt you clutching temps.

I would try the 35 helix, don’t know, if you don’t try. What primary spring are you running?

Those two springs are stiff on the end, which work well with the 39. The only room I see for improvement would be to go to set of Dalton weights. Imo this would require changing out both springs and helix to get it right. You seem to be in the ballpark.....so I'm not sure the juice will be worth the squeeze. Lol...just my opinion however, so good luck!!

Given that you are using the stock weight rivet set up from 17-18, try taking a gram or two off the end rivet or switch it to the aluminum.
I did just put an ecotrail tune in a new 19, and just left the clutching alone. The sled shifts just under 9

Blue-silver-blue primary spring and stock 35 helix, TP orange same wrap might be an option to try.

Changed up my clutching. Backshift is much improved in the 30-70 mph range. Rpms are about 8900. Much more responsive all around. Couldn’t get a top end but it rockets to 90 instantly. Thanks Clutchmaster.
