been noticing some funny stuff with my AFR. when i first start up and go out for the day it seems lean. and runs lean until i shut it off and restart it then its right on. if i just let it warm up, shut off, and restart it, its fine. then sometimes when i stop for food or dirks and come out and start it it reads real rich but clears up in about 2 miles. seems to run perfect. 4000 miles and hurricane 190 turbo. I'm thinking the stock sensor is getting bad and messing with the ECU settings. any ideas? i was going to start with replacing both the stock and gauge O2 sensors.
That's your idle air control valve. It let air in to achieve high idle.

that makes sence. because when i come into corners i also noticed it doesn't have the engine breaking it normally does. seems to "idle high" and coast. how do i fix this? dealer? i have a 5 year warranty.

is it electronic? could it be unplugged?
I just replaced mine due to funky #' s and it goes to 14.7 and never moves. It is an AEM with the new Bosch sensor

took it to the dealer. to replace the idle air control valve you have to order it as a package with the three throttle bodies. good thing i got warranty! if this is it everyone with a turbo better run gauges, thats the only way i knew it ran lean. could have costed me a motor and not the turbos fault!

Yamadog did you replace just the O2 sensor or the gauge itself? My AEM is reading 14.7 all the time.
Both because the old one had the old sensor and they are not compatible. I emailed the place I got it from but no response they are local I am going to call them
