I can't remember the actual number but there is a rev limiter that comes in somewhere around 11,000 to 11,200. The book says the motor works best at 10,200. Don't believe the book necessarily. My 03 LE revs a consistent 10,600 on hardpack, this is with heavy hitters in a CPR clutch kit.

I can get a consistant 10,500 out of mine... Probly could rev higher but not for extended time (i.e. across a 15 mile lake)
