Bad vibration with 3.00" pitch track

Has anyone experienced this?? New Camoplast 156" X 3.00" pitch track (supposedly lighter, but NOT) with Wahl Bros 3" 7 tooth drivers. Lost 20 MPH track speed and have horrible vibration. Everything aligned etc, just can't figure it.....
Any Ideas/ Stories????

The drivers are the wrong size and it's trying to climb the lugs,if you look inside at the driver where they connect the at the clips you'll probably find that there is only one driver lug touching the clips,also you'll probably find that the drivers are starting to wear out.Lincoln

Just talked with Wahl and he says the track needs to be run tight at first until the drivers and track break in. I say BS and they are just made wrong. I could tell by the way he talked that he knew they didnt work. I may try flipping the drivers around for the rest of the year and then buying the apex drivers next year along with a chaincase roll.

When I talked to them on the phone,he went down and measured the drivers and found that they weren't the right size.

So where are they wrong? Are they too big in the teeth or in the round part? Can they be fixed?

They are too big on the radius,what I did was push them onto the shaft then put them in the lathe and turn them down,this also trues them so that they spin true,you'll be surprised how much they are out.

Thrusted, how do you turn an extrovert driver???? Are you just turning the sides? and then trueing the ends of the teeth?

freak,They told me the same crap about running it tight for 40 miles. so i asked what about decell and down hill,which is where they make the most noise and he said run in reverse for a while!! . I fixed mine right on the sled with an air grinder took maybe 3/16 off the tooth tips and rounded it off.they are working good now but ill never buy wahl again.A lathe would work good also if they are already off.

Ya,just true the side teeth,reduce the size to 6.42 inches.

put back the 2.52 and the sled is smooth as butta now. I wont go 3.0 until I roll the case now.

I have a set, and mine vibrate as well. I thought it was the Attack 20 track. Sled seems to perform fine, just virbrates at low speeds. Also track is difficult to rotate backwards. I figured because the lugs are not locked in well on a stand. Forward rotate on the stand is OK???
