Did a search on this and found nothing. I have a bad vibration between 60 - 90 km. I have replaced all bogey wheels with new spoked wheels, and the track is perfectly aligned, none of the wheels are warped and the bearings are fine. Could one of the bearings be gone on the driveshaft ? the sled only has 1600miles on it so can see it. It feels like the drive lugs are rubbing on something. Anyone else had this problem? makes it awful annoying to trail ride. The sled has stock ripsaw with 144 studs. Alot of them are bent over and some ripped out. Does it on all types of snow conditions, loose hard pack doesn't matter. Any suggestions would be great!! Thanks

I'm willing to bet it is your track. I also have a 06 RTX and at the end of last season I picked up a vibration. I checked all my studs, and I had NO bent ones or ripped out ones. I checked everything I could check and everything seemed OK, so I changed the track out, and sure enough the vibration is gone

same issue here on my new vector with 1200 miles, turns out it was the belt,i had to pull a sleigh a while back and i damaged it. everytime i took off after it was damaged you could feel the belt jump or skip

I would check the belt as well. Some have also explained this as a symptom prior to their jack shaft breaking in half.

Now that i think of it the belt might be the problem... Thanks guys i'll check it out!! What the heck is a jackshaft? the drive axle?

Is there something i can do to test if the jackshaft bearing is gone besides takin it out?

I was refering to the actual jackshaft and not the bearing.

Its good to ask if you're not sure:
A jack shaft is the shaft that your secondary clutch is attached to which goes across to the top of the chain case.

Now that I think about it, it was the drive axle and not the jackshaft that was posted about with a vibration prior to snapping in half. Below is link to a post about the Axle vibration.

it sounds silly but i had bad vibration it sounded like it was up front, but
it was one of the tunnel protecters, the last two rivots where real loose, put
new rivots in noise gone.
