Put a scale under the front suspension and the right side was 175 the left was 165 pounds.
Is this a shock problem or is the sled heaver on the right side.
Right and left is setting on the sled

I believe the right side is heavier. There was a post years ago of the weights of the Apex that would confirm this.

In my garage thread I posted for corner weights. If you want to play with the adjustments shorten the shock on the lighter side to lean the sled slightly and it will even out. Pretty amazing. It may be placebo but when I got my weights down to 135lbs each ski the sled felt 100lbs lighter, no joke! Now mine was a custom apex with a turbo and relocated fuel tank which IMO is the biggest reason the apex feels like a tank, is the stock position of the fuel. Switch a rev/cat type tank and get the fuel under your butt and behind you and whoa they become fun to drive through the rough stuff.

i think i might to try that balance idea. It rails through corners now but i lose rear traction being heavy in the front

Sounds more like your running too aggressive of a carbide and not enough traction in the rear (ie studs) its quite a balancing act.

Maybe let out the limiter strap out a notch if the back end is loose

It's set at stock. Leaving Friday to go to xmas and beyond. I ll try that
As for the balance I can't do much because they is no preload in the front shocks.
But i tell you it rails in the turns
