blew a rod bearing on a 01 banshee. took it in to change the rods out and was told that there was no "pin" that the lower rod bearing sits on. Is this possible? If so why would they make connecting rod kits?

lol, thats impossible. the rod sits on a "pin". if there was no "pin" your rod would not spin with the crank, and your engine wouldn't work lol. www.rjatv.com has pretty good prices on banshee cranks. if you want a stroker he has those also.
