Sorry in advance for yet another air box post haha. Just curious if many are running this setup and how it's working out? Any issues in deep snow? I can't find much info online but like the idea of outside air and the price is reasonable.

I made my own cold air intake and it works excellent. Temps are 10 degrees above ambient. I completely blocked off the stock inlet. Testing back to back with the free air box mod it pulls a few more revs up top and flashes thru the mid range quicker. It definitely works.Sorry in advance for yet another air box post haha. I looked at the barcode and Excell ( no longer made) along with Ulmer and Schmidt bros. Only Barcode pulled 100% cold air. So I just made my own. This weekend I'll be testing the velocity stacks to get some additional mid range response.

Looks like a good setup. Where did you purchase your velocity stacks from zr7000?

Did you get the whole Black Hole Intake kit with the velocity stacks? Let us know your feedback after you run it. Thanks

No I just purchased the velocity stacks. Made my own intake. Their inlet is still close to the radiator. On a 20 degree ride this weekend I was seeing low 30 degree intake temps.Did you get the whole Black Hole Intake kit with the velocity stacks? Let us know your feedback after you run it. Thanks
Velocity stacks definitely helped with low end throttle response. These mods have all been small gains but they do add up.

I got my barcode kit installed last week and got a good ride in this weekend. It does definitely add some snap and my intake temps were consistently within 10 degrees of the outside temp. I was a little worried about the filter location in the deep powder but I put it to the test and had no issue with blockage

Do you have a exhaust to go with the ice box air box. If so did you have to add a pc5? I want to do a cold air intake but I have a exhaust. I dont full understand the Fuel controllers to be confident enough to do it.
