The 11-18 Apex EXUP cables require adjustment and are also prone to tearing as they age. Improper adjustment and torn cables can hinder performance and fuel mileage if valve gets stock in the closed position. The BOP cable delete allows for the elimination of cables all together. The plate locks the valve in the open position.
