Please help with baseline 06 APEX GT suspension settings. My rear shock has been revalved and has a bigger spring. My front springs are loose enough to allow the "A" arms to be parallel.. I need assistance with the following:
front and center shock settings
toe set to zero while on ground at rest???
Limiter strap One hole up from middle???
length of stansfer rod in skid?

It was awhile ago I had one of these but this is what my memory says.
Make sure the front springs are not loose when ski's are suspended in the air. Loosen until they rattle then tighten adjuster a thread or so.
Toe 1/4 " ish out .
Thread above covers rear suspension.
Lmiter strap one hole up from longest if you want transfer , less if looking to rail
Transfer rod shortest if looking to rail. 1 line from max transfer on the measure in the tool kit for good transfer. Depends on what you are looking for
Seven clicks from min on compression on GYTR's and 4 clicks from min on compression. Adjust for different conditions from there.
These sleds are very tunable so for the most part you will want to deviate some from these depending on the day and what you are looking for.
Enjoy.

1. one hole up on strap (for your style riding) spoke to you last week 2. set rear spring sag for your weight and equipment (measure the shock with back end in air then with you on it 40 to 45mm difference) 3. Do not run gytr shocks all the way loose (they will not handle even with 13mm bar) maybe 1/16 to 1/8 from loose 4. measure toe out 1/4'' EACH ski with you on sled 5. transfer in middle for now and adjust for conditions or wheelie time. Skis off the ground is fun, but no turn when punching at end of corner...this is great base for aggressive (not insane) trail rider...hope to see you at Gaspie...
