I have an 06 Attak never had any starting issues. Went to Quebec 2 weeks ago rode sled first day put on 200 miles. Sled sat overnight maybe at 0 degrees F battery was completely dead in morning tryed starting off a jump box wouldn't start not enough juice. Started it jumping off car, started right up. Ran the sled for about a half hour battery seemed to charge ok no more starting issues even at -10 degrees F another night. Came back home no snow sled sat about 9 days tried starting battery dead again. Has anyone else had this problem I was thinking maybe battery has a bad cell, I think the charging system should be ok cuz once it is started it is fine if it was the charging system I would think it would quit once the battery was run down. Any suggestions appreciated.

my kids left my key on for a couple days & drain the battery back in early december. charged it slowly and have never had a problem. but haven't tried starting in temps below 5 degrees.

I had to replace mine. Was working great then the next day nothing. It wouldnt even make a curcuit.

are you using the kill switch to turn off the eng?,if you are and leaving the key in the on position it will kill the battery.

When my battery was dead the key wasn't in the sled. Also key wasn't in sled when in my garage and also dead.

My 05 RX1 did the same thing the first year. Get a new battery from the dealer.

Was in Ft. Kent, Maine this weekend, -15F one morning, -22F the next, absolutely no probs whatsoever, she started like a dream, so did my budy's RTX.

We were up in Pitssburg over the weekend and -12 F at night. No problems with starting (needed a couple of turns on Sat morning but no problems) but after reading this topic I just called home and had the wife check my key and sure enough I turned it off from the kill switch. Have to slap the Optimate on tonight. :o|

I was in Riviere Du Loupe over the weekend similar temps and no issues either with the Attak or the RTX

My GT sat outside friday night -30C and I had to jump start it Saturday morning. Sunday morning -25C it started. I don't know whats up with that but my DIESEL truck started no problem not plugged in. Its a SNOWmobile which means it should start in the cold!
