As I recall, the '03 F7 was pretty strong right out of the box, maybe even stronger than subsequent F7's.

It doesn't really matter because everything gets faster, better, stronger, bla-bla-bla than the other guy when you're "bench racing". Doesn't matter if it's in a bar or on an internet forum.

F7, I appreciate you keeping your taunting to a minimum and from what I've read it's all been in good fun.

For all, it's up to us to keep TY a fun and informative place. I know that I really don't care for bars with overly aggressive bouncers and I'd hate to see TY have overly agressive moderators.

Quit trying to stir up crap...I'm sure your F7 is fast but this isn't the way or the place to make people believe you.

I've seen one F7 in Ontario break 120 with what I believe is a stock bore...but the rest ain't stock or that trailable.

ya..... I personally can't believe this thing hasn't pooched yet, but hey... there were a few 03's that hung on. Being honest, I blew my first one up 3 times L! At 39 I've owned all the brands and I'll never be brand loyal. No manufacturer has ever offered me as much as a T-shirt, so why would anyone be BLIND BIASED.... it's the SPORT that's fun and to be appreciated... not being CLICKY ... like a wanna be BULLY to other brands etc.

Next sled at this point would most likely be an APEX with a turbo.. But kinda anxious to see CAT get off their arse and come to the plate with an emissions friendly MONSTER.

Not stuck on the REV/MACH platform... too school bus'ish, Plattapuss'ish styling.. Have always been hooked on looks & Speed.. so far the APEX is doing both for me

Please guys.... I'm dead honest... My project sled build is clearly on our site. If you don't believe that 05 MACHZ story, go to DOOTALK and ask ADRENALATOR8 it's his Mach and he'll tell you how my sled runs.. it's taken 3 years of testing to get it this fast and it's stock fuel pressure, stock computer, head has never come off the sled... It's clutched, geared, has a Speedwerx intake and single pipe... runs Royal Purple synthetics... and ran a conservative 124mph last winter with stock 03 track and 170 1.375 Woody's Megabites... NO BULLSH*T. If you think that's 'sick'... it's going to get faster this season as we're putting a speed track on it with drag eliminator studs, and then it's taking a trip to D&D. THEN it will have the fuel mapping adjusted etc, because Dale Roes and crew at D&D can make them work! Trust me...


What gears do you have on top and bottom? What rpm is it at wot? Thanks in advance

Love the new APEX... just telling them, our sled will be a handful for anything naturally aspirated '1000cc's or less'

FXR nice looking sled, you have a great website. None of this will be solved on the internet. Guys taking cheap shots at guys and races they have never met or seen. In the world of snowmobiles anything is possible. If the sled does run that well and it is what you say it is I tip my hat to ya, rock on. I believe the reason most people jump so fast to call someone a liar is because on the internet my sled can do 175 mph on hard pack snow in 500 ft. LOL The Apex is not going to win every race and Im sure will be beat by some good running F7s from time to time. There is nothing wrong with that if a guy has a good running sled and beats ya, it has happened from the beginning of time. As my uncle once told me you are only as fast as the company you ride with, there will always be someone faster.

Anyone would tell you.... that I'm the first to shake a hand in competition, win or lose.

Really appreciate the 'general' positive attitude of your board here... especially when leaning towards a sled like the APEX for my next 'tinkering toy'.

I'll just say this..... My buddy who has the APEX that's reading 128mph on the speedo and has him smiling from ear to ear( regardless of how far the speedo is out ) - If anyone can get one of these new sleds WORK'n.. he'll do it. He was on a world record SRX team years back and has picked up a ton of tips and tricks.... Once he gets onto this new sled , as his old one was a 2002 SRX, we'll have some serious duels which will be on our site this winter.

Thinking at this point of a 3 wide local "Race 2 No B.S" 2500-3000' 05 MACHZ I was talking about earlier.... this guys APEX and my lil 700 twin.. perhaps 'before' AND after our sled comes back from D&D. Either way it will be stock MOTOR - naturally aspirated drag
