I find it pretty funny how mini machz owners are spouting off their mouths that the Apex doesn't stand a chance. But it seams that they think as much or more of the Apex than we owners or maybe they think less of their own sled or both. I know of 2 that didn't stay stock long enough to hit the snow. Even though they both claimed to be "bone stock". My brothers 06 burned a cylinder with a whopping 40 miles on it. I thought it was a chip that was supposed to burn up. LOL For some strange reason skidoo wouldn't warranty it. Well he had to come clean on at least part of what he did which included porting, increased compression and clutching. Apparently the engine work was not responsable for the engine failure. His buddy with his 06 Mach was given away by his noisy Dyno Port exhaust after claiming to be bone stock. I am quite sure he had it ported and what ever else my brother had done to his so that he could keep up with him or I should say that they are both trying to keep up with my Apex GT. Well, I haven't raced them yet but I can't wait, especially after I have over 1,000 miles on it and the clutching dialed in.

spanker what kit do u have in it ulmer, if so does it wake the sled

No clutch kit yet. I am looking real hard at the ulmer kit. I have heard nothing but good reports about them like 5 to 6 sled lengths in 500 or 600 ft.black700 said:

I have a buddy w/a 06 Z. He too says its bone stock (dyno port loud exhaust, clutch kit, funny hand writting on the cylinders after he pulled em off ported I'm sure) He claims he had to change a gasket because they fail (bottom of the head). Needless to say he'll beat me in perfect racing conditions, but I'll take him in the fluff. They didnt put any lugs down the middle of the track. 1 inch lugs dont cut the mustard for fluff.
