Ok im on my 3rd subframe now and something needs to be done. the first one was an 08 with supports, 2nd was 09 now goes in the 2010. There is no difference between the 09,10. At least from what i can see. On this last one i can't really tell whats bent but i can rock it back and forth and i cant on the new one. Has anyone put any more supports or anyother strengthening pieces else where on the new subframes? Is anyone else bending the new ones or am i just too hard on crap?

I don't mind riding with it a little tweaked either. I dont change them till there pretty well screwed. This last one i could have went another season i think but the a arms are screwed as well and didnt notice them till this summer. I must have smoked something pretty good last season.

Can any of the welding be done with the subframe still on the sled.

Are you sure it's bent? You say that you can rock it back and forth, which sounds like it's the A arm bushings and/or the ball joints that might be excessively worn.
A sign that your subframe is bent is that the flat plate with the circle cutout in it is crinkled. Another sign, one ski is further forward vs the other or the ski spindles differ in angles with each other.

If you remove the body plastic and a-arms you'll have plenty of room to weld in support plates. I did one subframe out on the floor and another with only the a-arms removed. Unless the frame has major damage I'd leave it in. If your a-arm bushings have any play, replace them with Ulmer's or Pioneer's bushing kit and weld in some support at the same time.

I just pickup up the machine so I'm going to have to go over everything. I did notice two of the a-arms had some freeplay from worn out bushings. I was thinking of beefing it up while its all apart.
It would be good idea if someone could sell a kit with all the pieces already cut and bent. All we would have to do if weld them in and paint it.
