It is expensive if you screw up. Probably why after a couple years I still have the same few yards of CF and have built all my hoods out of Fiberglass instead.

Been real busy working on this and life. I got her together and got to ride it.
I got the rev tank on, pump wired and bolted down. I was just going to ride with no seat. I stood on the sled and felt so wide it was crazy. I ditched it instantly.
The IQ/Pro RMK tank fit real good and felt good, but sourcing a pump and getting it to fit would take time I did not want to use.
Stock tank fit good and I already had a decent looking seat to fit.
Changed the clutching to a yellow pink yellow because my sled was always just engaging hard.
Got her all together and rode it. In the morning the thing just dug and dug. We move my front shocks to 140psi to keep the front up and things went better. She got stuck and rolled many times. I even rolled it end for end. Tunnel did not break. Going to make another plug, mold and tunnel with much less alum this summer. I feel very confident in carbon fiber.

Too bad the snow in this area has been washed away by the warm weather and the rain...

When you get around to building the new tunnel take a bunch of pictures if you don't mind.

I went with the stock tank. Rev tank was too wide even with a flat tunnel. The poo tank looks like the ticket. Had good feel and would fit with a few mods.

The tunnel is still holding up great and I have no worries. The aluminum that I have running from my rear bumper down the tunnel to my cat mounts collects ice and grows up. The carbon fiber does a little, but not nearly as bad. My next project will most likely dump the exhaust out sooner.

Buddy is coming with some race go kart scales tonight to weigh my sled. His 13 pro was 460 with some fuel. I am really hoping for under 600!

Ok, full of fuel. I even burped it and let the fuel settle so it went all they way up to the neck. she was full full. took a vid to show how full the fuel neck was. With two bars on the fuel tank it was under 530. But full full it was

500lb wet next year. Easy. Going for 450lb.
Stay tuned...

450 wet would be awesome, and not easy. Your entire tunnel/bulkhead/subframe will need to be sub 50 lbs and lighter drivetrain or a belt drive will be needed. Being N/A will help though as will staying with a shorter track.
