Here are some pics of my 05 RX1 rear suspension front arm before and after repairs and gusseting. I basically copied the 08 arm gussets. This can be done with a little fab skills and a welder, saving $280. Hope it holds up!
Certainly looks strong. This was a lot of work fitting & welding. Did you mig weld or stick?

I tig welded it, but it could have just as easily been mig welded. next is the Attak arm, it's broken too!

Just had a customer send me his rear suspension for Powder coating and it too was broken.. in the same places..
Just not as bad.. OUCH..
Mine broke last year too.. all i did was weld it up and its still holding..

Sure if I'm not laid off by then! Could do them at home with the mig welder. I'll bet any local welding shop would do them too with the economy like it is. I had to bend the side plate in a little to clear the bogie wheel bolt head. The Attak arm is broken a little different, I'll post pics of it with the repairs next week

I have 3400+ miles on my '05 without any cracks. Bud I did get the reinforced one on Warrenty before the original one broke.
