I know this topic has been discussed before but wondering why this is (was) the only sled I've ever owned that won't let secondary close right up coasting to a stop on the stand. Is it: A- because the secondary spring has limited side force? Or: B- because the track/suspension has a lot of friction.
Has anyone installed a regular fully clipped track (not silent drive garbage) and tried it again?
And........has anyone tried a stiffer side force spring and rechecked this.......

Another question......has anyone done this simple test using the longer 8DN.
Doo i don't know why, But i do know this..... i was ready to tear my hair out because i could not get deflection adjusted properly when i knew it should be fine the way i had it and sure enough i took it off the lift and it was dead on. i was ready to set the F'ing thing on fire i was so frustrated!
We have to chalk this up to "It is what it is" lesson learned! Faack!

I know some may think this is wrong BUT i believe a slightly higher helix angle(steeper) actually helps with this problem(belt deflection)... And yes its gone once a load is put on belt/clutches.. So my point is clutching 101 says less helix angle== more back shift.. Well I certainly do NOT think that happened when I went to a steeper helix angle.. I ran the spring @ 6/1 with stocker and straight 38 and I know without a doubt the 38 back shifted way MORE .. Go figure!
Doowithblue that 35/37 helix you had I believe would have been damn good in a boosted winder.. Someone from TY buy it? Curious what his results will be
