I was wondering how do you adjust the belt deflectlion on the rx1 secondary. Do i just add washers to the three screws behind the secondary. My belt is riding to low and i need to raise it. Thank you.

Adding washers allows the sheaves to move closer together which raises the belt height.

The above thread on belt deflection is great. Sometimes when I install a new belt it tends to ride a little too high, with more drag then it should have. So I remove some or all the washers for about first 500 miles or until I notice the belt starting to rode a little low. Then I keep adding washers to mantain proper belt height. I tend to get 1,500 hard miles as a rule of thumb per belt. I have noticed that belts are not as consistant in length as you would think they would be. I have only come across one belt that was too long and needed extra washers from the start. Taking 10 minutes to get your belt deflection right really pays off in preformance the rest of the day ;)!
