As part of my prepping the Phazer I just picked up I Installed a brand new belt and set out to adjust the belt height in the secondary. If I pull both shims out, the belt still rides slightly below the top edge of the secondary. With them in, it is lower still.
Is there any additional adjustment that can be made?
I'm concerned that as the belt wears it will sink down even further. I'd really prefer to start with the new belt being a bit above the secondary.

If it's at all like the Nytro you can add 1 washer under each of the 3 bolts on the back side of the inner sheave. The only problem you might incur when removing the shims is the reverse problem which is the reason Yamaha added the extra shim between the sheaves. I'll be cleaning the wife's Phazer clutches later and will double check.

Figured it out, I had forgotten to load it by twisting the helix before reassembling. It ran fine on the stand, but not under load.
Put it together and now it is probably a bit high, need to run it on snow again before deciding if I will put one of the shims back in.
Rookie mistake, just glad I had a chance to do a quick run to figure it out. Now the snow is all melted!

If you don't run both shims there's a good chance you'll be getting reverse problems......

I have tried to remedy this problem, remove both washers acquired 911 cover to tighten the primary clutch it became better but far from 100%, so described problem for Ultimax desire is slightly shorter belt, here is their recommendation, I live in sweden and the same problem here too, it is damn scandal of yamaha not to fix this after first year model !!!
