  Just got in from looking the RX over and i noticed the belt is sitting just a whisker down in the secondary. On all my POLARIS's i use to run them just a hair over the top.Should i leave the belt hieght alone or should i raise it up?Also my other sleds have external adusters what is he easiest way to adjust this YAMAHA secondary never took this style apart except to turn p the twist.THANX

You adjust belt deflection at the back of the secondary with shims and the 3 bolts which are there. Adding shims will raise your belt height. Maxximum performance makes an external adjuster for around $50.00 US.

Rodder, I wouldn't worry about it if it is just a "whisker". Spec is .5mm(.02 in.) below edge.

I would personally classify the clutch as externally adjustable, just that the adjustment is on the BACK. 3 small bolts, change shims. Add shims to raise belt, remove to lower.

The non-externally adjustable clutches are the *old style* that you had to rip in half to adjust.
