How does one man...by himself remove the F$#@$%% belt? I have a clutch kit that I want to install and CAN NOT get the belt off. Whats the trick?
I know recently someone mentioned running it on a stand and hitting the brake... etc but I dont have a stand or a parking brake. How else?
Ive pushed pulled and pryed and it aint happening... Im dying to install this kit but cant perform this simple task. Ive pulled belts off all my other sleds with NO problem but this is just something..... HELP!!!!

Any lift will work like a charry pick and use the hand brake, shut the engine off then it should not rotate on you. I you dont have any type of lift, have some one hold for a sec or use wood to hold, I dont suggest you do it but sine I dont have a stand I have someone hold it while I am outside.

Push in and rotate the inner half of the secondary. It opens up the distance between the halves and allows you to pull the bottom part of the belt up toward the center. This gives you the slack to get the top of the belt off. It should take you literally 30 seconds.

Here's what I got by typing Belt Removal in the search feature.

Thank you all......Not sure if not doing it right but I walso have little luck with the search feature here.
For the record I have tried this repeatedly and wont go. I dont really seem to have much to push on I think is one of my biggest issues. Ill give it another whirl in a bit.

most of the time ppl dont rotate it enough u can look behind the clutch into the helix and see how far u have to rotate it in order to push it back
