belt slipping due to snow into clutch

I used SLP flo rite material. Kind of a pain to install but it works. I sprayed the metal screen with 3m fabric glue , stuck the material, pulled it off again to let tack up and installed it again. Had trouble with one that didn't want to stick but eventually got it. Was on all last winter. Sometimes it would ice over but nothing serious.

My clutch had chewed a hole through side panel and bottom panel from crossing grader ridges along the road.Once I replaced those I cut a plate from an old clutch gaurd off my Viper. I fashioned it in a way which used two factory bolts to hold the plate on. That was not strong enough so then I braced it with the tubing. Not sure what it will look like after I explode my next belt but no more chewed panels and no more snow sneaking in through from the bottom there either.
