I seem to fall into this category as well, this last weekend I could feel the belt slip then grab, slip then grab.... So I figured it would be better to swap out the belt before it blew, belt was extremely glazed both sides, it was clear that the belt was not going to the top of the clutch, started looking closer and there was a chunk of material missing from the secondary roler, and oil splash on the plastics, and oil on the bottom of the air box (and inside the air box) . Also noticed oil on the chain case and on the floor board.
I have had the squeal since new, but doesn't do it all the time, usually after a hard brake, followed by alot of throttle. I had not been terribly worried about it because after very hard runs I could easily grab the belt with bare hands, the sled always ran hard and hitting that 110mph was no issue, then the last couple rides the issues started to show themselves. Sled is at the dealer, he is probably the best around, hopefully he can get me all fixed up, mostly under warranty. Apparently yamaha only has a 3 or 6 month warranty on clutches (nobody I've talked to knows for sure lol)
