Finally she is back together and ready for flight. I know alot of you out there have run out of patients with Bender on the suspension deal but what I have to say may change that.

I just got back last night from Hurley and 3 days of all trail conditions you would expect out the area with no snow and alot of riders.

03 Rx-1 with new Bender ReAction suspension, Hauck pipe, 1-1/4" shotgun track with 96 picks down the middle. Friday I was a little tentative due to this being the 1st run with so much new stuff bolted on not to mention I totalled an RTX 4 weeks ago in the same spot at over 100mph (I know, my fault) only did 85 miles on Friday and then set to checking all of the bolts.

1st day without pushing the sled I already knew this was going to be good. I went to 1/3 stiff on the shock spring, min on the transfer and 22 on the 42 position clicker shock. The trails were a bit rough but not bad. The sled launches like a rocket hook up is immediate and there is no track spin. The skis lift almost a foot but the feel is controlled. You can lift the skis at any time while trail riding just with a burp of the throttle. Ended Friday with a little noise that turned out to be the chain tensor nut had backed off and was getting chatter out of the gear box.

Saturday was the first real test. I got to tell you she howls with the Hauck pipe and every trail stop sign you come to people just sit and stare at you. Flip the throttle she barks launches and pulss the skis. You can see there eyeballs bulging in there visors. We took trail 13 from Montreal down to Bear Chasers and I let her run out. She eats the tight twisties unlike anything I have seen or ridden it is smooth and flows through the corners, I even left the stock sway bar in because I like the feel of the bicycling and the extra bite I get from the outside ski in the turns. I was riding with 6 friends on everything from proX700 with lots of work done to it, 2 Ski doos, 2 Edge 700's and an old Hauck grass drag SRX converted back to snow. Nothing could run with this sled. On the Lake at Bear Chasers it pulls all of the 700's including the SRX by over 10 sled lengths in the 1/4.

Sunday 3 guys got up and were so sore they went home. 4 of us stayed - The SRX refused to start so 3 of us went out the trails had become poor to worse I rode from 9 am to 3 pm only stopping 2 times for soda and gas. I wanted to keep riding and the other 2 had enough and wanted to go home.

I will not buy another RTX but I am going to find another 03 or 04 RX-1 and do the same mods to it. Hands down this thing is easier to ride, more preditictable int the tight twisties and faster from launch out to about 90. Plus I can own 2 of them for less than 1 RTX, parts are available for them and the hand warmers work.

So if your sled is still together and you can ride until Bender gets the suspension to you wait, I gaurantee you wont be dissapointed.

PM me for anymore info.
