bender turbo blowing massive oil Do INeed seals or send out?

Yes pilot jet ,main jet wont fit in the oil line.

Crap!!! Mine has a main jet in the line. The threads are just filed off a little and it fits fine. It really shouldn't matter as the size is the same, right?

My group has always used mains with filed threads..... no problems.

Yup. That is what I just put in. A 50 main Jet with the threads filed down so it will fit.

So we can use pilots or main jets. I can't find a main jet anywhere around here without ordering it. I do however have some pilots jets in the 50 range. Should I throw that in to try it?

Man I just don't see how that small amount of oil is going to keep everything working properly. I assume that the oil is solely for lubrication. I thought that the oil was also used to help cool the turbo but in this small amount it won't help much at all. I never realized how little we are sending back to the turbo.

I figured out my oil problem in the charge tube. My bad.LOL I forgot how long it laid on its side when I had the chaincase protector welded.LOL My guess is it laid on its side for 3 hours. I thought something went wrong with the turbo when I saw oil coming out of the pitot jet and the intercooler was full.LOL

Thanks for all your help guys.

If you disconnect the feed line to the turbo and start the motor, you will be surprised how much oil comes out of that .035 jet.

I have an extra 50 MJ if you want it. All you will have to do is grind the threads down.

I installed the 50 jet in the supply line. I started the sled today to load onto the trailer. Well it is smoking bad AGAIN. I thought it was from being on its side while getting the welding done to the chaincase protector. I had the charge tube fairly cleaned out of the oil. It must be full again! The sled is smoking like crazy once it is warm. There is also little drops of oil coming out the pipe.

Please help guys. I am at a loss here. I checked the oil pump by removing the line by the tank. I start the sled and it spurts oil out at a good rate. I assume that means the pump is working, right? Where is the fuse for the pump? Maybe I should pull the fuse and try it again and see if there is a difference?

I am really getting frusturated by this sled. I am about to part it out and go back to a Mtn Max. I love the turbo power, just not all the problems with this Bender. I thought I had all the problems worked out and than this crap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are leaving on a trip out West on Feb. 14th. I NEED to get this sled running right. I hate to drag it along as a paper weight.
