Hi
I was wondering what the better kit is, the air box mod from Schmidt bros or the full k and n kit from ulmers that eliminates airbox all together?
If anyone has the kits or has had both any opinions would be great. I'm stuck as to what I should do
Thanks

I run the KN's with PCV from ulmer and like them so far( install was pretty simple) and I love the sound....just need to get my clutching figured out
my brother run's the Schmidt bros kit and hasn't notice much

Ulmer tested each option and he said be noticed some improvement with mod but also some losses so he doesn't offer it as an option (nay have at one point I think).

I have the K&Ns and my brother has the Schmidt bro mod. The throttle response is much quicker with the k&ns.

K&N's all the way. Does provide room also if you have to any work under there.

I would recommend a fuel manager. Are you doing exhaust also?

I don't know yet. Was curious about K&N. But I don't know anything about those pc5 or fuel mapping

From what I remember intake or exhaust alone is fine, once you do both the PCV is needed.
