The stock battery is quite reliable but several have gone to the next size up for the extra CCAs.

Good choice. Last year I put in the Interstate brand YTX20H-BS which fits perfectly with the original foam spacers removed. This battery has 310 CCA compared to the original battery which has 200 CCA. It is a few more pounds but the extra CCA is worth it IMO.

I found this helpful in thinking about new battery.

Hope it helps you. I am going to go AGM certainly NOT necessary as original has served me well.

The Interstate brand YTX20H-BS that I installed is a AGM battery. I am assuming that the Yuasa YTX20H-BS is also a AGM battery.

That is a good deal! Just make sure you do not order the YTX20HL-BS. The L has reversed polarity.
Will Yuasa YUAM62RBH YTX20H-BS Battery fit 03 rx1?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Welcome to TY! Please add your location to your profile.
I believe that the RX-1 did use the larger 20 series battery. Perhaps someone else more familiar with the '03 RX1 can confirm.
