What's the best battery I can get for my '17 apex? I would like to step up to a 20 series with more cca.

im not sure the size but just take out the box /batt holder assembly and bring into dealer. cram the biggest one that will fit w/o going too high. there is a lot of unused room in that box. youll have to play with pos and neg wire routing to battery a little but not that big of a deal.

Here you go. This is the higher cca battery you need with the terminals reversed. I installed this exact battery in my '12 Apex last fall:
