Just got a new Yuasa 20 series battery and noticed the terminals are backwards compared to previous batteries. The + terminal is on the right when looking at the battery. Can i install it backwards, or do they make cable extensions? Thanks.
Yes I know, but i can't return it. I bought it online, and already put the acid in it before i noticed the terminals were switched. My question is can i use the one i have by either turning 180 degrees, or do they make cable extensions?
I had this problem with the battery that came with my supercharger when I went back to stock as it was backwards I was able to get the negative wire to reach and I had some heave gauge wire from an old stereo amp from my teenage years I used solder and heat shrink tube to connect the two and crimped a new end on it to connect the battery
This is not going to work either. I can get the terminals on, but the cover will not go back over it. I took out the same exact model number battery, a Yuasa YTX20HL-BS, and now the terminals are opposite. I have looked for a modifier on the model number to signify the terminals are switched, like an R, or 1 or something, and i'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated. At this point I'm willing to buy another battery, and just throw this one in my Grizzly.
