What is the best gauge setup for AF and boost? Is anyone using MPI's ProLogger? Have seen some complaints about AEM fogging. What about Koso?

Thanks Krtter, what scale is your boost gauge 0-15? Can you see it alright, does it have recall? Also, have you seen 12.5 or higher AF - has it saved you possible detonation. Im just trying to decide if i should be getting set up , prob should.i have a koso mini afr guage mounted on my handlebar on the very left side works nice have koso boost guage tucked behind the lil windshield works nice but have it switched they say it works best if your sled is running for a bit then turn on gauges they work great but I'm sure there is a lot of guys using various thins and having great luck with them

These are the ones I use. The afr guage mounted on handlebar works great. The other one I see great. But when you're running 270 hp. I'm trying to focus on the trail. Lol. I do want to go bring it to Dynotech and put it on dyno and see all the afr numbers

I agree running high HP makes reading the gauges in real time almost impossible. I have been using AEM AFR's on all my machines for years. My sled one just burnt out after 3 yrs of running 110 octane race fuel for over 3500 miles and had to replace it. I have tried all kinds of Boost gauges including Dragon, EVO , Autometer which have all failed in less than 1000 miles and now have a very expensive Innovative in the 15 XTX which I rode for the first time 2 seeks ago and it seems to fluctuate a bit at WOT but cannot focus on it for long to see.
I know several including MR Sled that started this 3yrs ago with Vipers with KOSO all in ones and they have all gotten rid of them due to failure.

Hmmm i guess I'll keep looking. I wonder if the Prologger that MPI sells is very durable - have you any experience?I agree running high HP makes reading the gauges in real time almost impossible. We run Pro-loggers on all of our sleds. I have one on my personal sled. Works awesome, there is a learning curve to it tho. It has a lot of features that people don't know about. RPM, Boost, Boost Control, A/F, Never lean, Drag mode, Trans brake (not used in this application) Data logging. Im sure I missed some. We have not had a Prologger come back from Water damage. It may not be the best looking thing out there, but it just works.

Yeah i'm not real fond of the shape but it sounds durable. What about the 02 sensor life? Can you adjust timing?

Sensor life depends on fuel. I have 2 seasons so far on mine with running anything from pump to 50/50 to 110. Engine timing? No.
