My '03 RX1 Mountain already had a 2' riser block, and needed a Powermadd extension for the throttle cable. I want to maybe go higher, say 6" and not sure what is best to do. I have a front mount Alpine turbo, so if I go to a rider forward setup, is it a pain as far as removing a lot to make it work? Or as on a freinds 'Doo, he has an adjustable bar that folds forward and locks.Should one just go to a taller block, or Rox extensions....where in Canada is best place to buy from?I am also concerned as far as what cables need to be changed, where to get them (brake, e-brake and choke), is there a package? My guages are in a custom bracket, ahead of the steering post, with the boost gauge as well.
Any direction and pics would be appreciated.I just don't want to get into having to remove turbo parts, such as coolant lines etc and air intake clearance issues.
Thanks.

Clearance with the rider forward will be fine. I have a front mount turbo with no issues with mine. The rider forward IMO is the single best mod you can do to an Rx1.

Yep, just have to remember your sled wont be trail friendly anymore if that bothers you.... ;)

Thanks mulot, that's the input I am after! In my case, we do ride trails, maybe 15-20km, then back again, and the odd side trip as well.Would it be just better to use say a Rox riser setup maybe? I look at my air intake, and really little room as far as the bars getting closer, at least in my setup, it is right behind where the winshield is, and would otherwise work, just the speedo and guages would need a new home, any suggestions as far as relocate, or brand to buy?

Here is a pic of my custom setup I built. My air intake comes up through the hood where the windshield used to be and my speedo is right behind it between the steering post and intake. Pic isn't ideal but it's all I could find. If you go with the Rox system the bars get further forward but the steering post doesn't exert the levarage on the correct portion of the Delta box which is why they changed the Apex.

Thanks for the RX1M5. I found a nice riser etc and cables from Alpine, so will see what I end up with here. Just checking cable lengths etc now, and what all I need to adjust to make it work.
Thanks again guys!
