My neighbor/ mechanic just informed me all 9 of the idler wheels on the skid are whooped (most bearings shot, 1 top froze and flat spotted from track rub).
I've read somewhere not to replace them with OEM ones so where's a better place to get 'em @ a reasonable price/ gonna last as well + what sizes are needed?
Just got the sled over the summer with 2100 miles on it, all suspension is still stock (in the process of changing it to upgraded but didn't need this hassle)... Can't wait to see the $$$ damage now!

Bring the old bearings to your local shop supplier. They really arent that expensive.

Yeah those are his version of low snow wheels like $30 each I've been told, but I need idlers.
Gotta stop at the garage tonight & actually see what I'm up against, neighbor says they're not all bearing replaceable- only the tops were and they're toast I guess??
I'll look into the Slydog ones. We'll see...........

Do yourself a favor and look it up in the Apex and Nytro forum. They use Polaris or Skidoo wheels or their equivalent. Will drasticly improve Hyfax life and through aftermarket it is cheap.I wish I would have done that rather than buy the spoked Yamaha ones which do last and have replaceable bearings but are same size as stock so Hyfax wears.

I recently bought all new wheels for the skid(replacable bearings) from yamaha. 30$ per wheel is nothing... As for next time... pack of bearings only needed...
