Hi all,
I read a few threads on this topic and need to know the cheapest place to buy the wheels. They are all stock, 2 are shot and bang for the buck is important..
Should I replace all the wheels with Polaris/skidoo wheels or replace them with kimpex 130mm wheels as they go bad?
thanks, Steve

I went with the Excell X wheels...slightly larger than stock so helps with slider wear. They are direct bolt-ons and have replaceble bearings.

Complete wheel kit goes for $285 and $29.95 individually for wheels, which is about average for a decent idler wheel. I'd reccommend keeping all the wheels the same size whichever way you go (OEM, Doo, Poo, Excell.......)

Be carefull with oversized wheels on the stock 06 wheel mounts as they are held on by just one bolt that is located high on the rail causing flex and possable breakage of the rails. I have a 06 er that from new has had the pioneer perf. wheel lowering kit that lowers the wheel 5 mm and mounts to the rails with two bolts. You can run the new Yamaha wheels with this set-up and never have to look under your sled during the season. After running that set-up for 15,000 miles I can say its the best money that can be spent on the early mono skids.

I have been running the Excell wheels on my '07 (same as '06 Mono which also has single bolt mounts) for 2 seasons with no issues FWIW.
