Best sled lift stand hoist? Any recommendations?

This will be my first off-season with a lift, will probably store a sled on it as I have some suspension/shock work being done.

They do take floor space or wall space so you might as well use it.

sled lift

Yes I plan on storing my sled on it. Works great for inspecting track and suspension. Alsk for checking carbides and air pressure in fox float 3 s. My buddy went out and bought one after he used and liked mine. There is a guy in Humbolt Iowa who makes them out of shop and powder coats them. Been awhile but he had them on ebay. He helped me out and told me to get the word out about his lifts.

Hey folks.....looking to buy a lift to raise entire sled off ground (with wheels for mobility). What are you guys using and can you give me any tips on what to look for in one? Or the best vendors to use? Any TY sponsors selling that you can recommend? I appreciate and leads. Best regards and happy trails!

I have a cheap one that I got from a place here in MN but cannot tell you if they are still in business. I put wheels on it and it was under $120.00 and I have use it for over 10 yrs.

I think the REC Lift is the best I have ever used and they are $270 ish and several for sale

This is the one I have and I use my impact wrench to run it up and down

I bought this ramp from Discount Ramps and put it together tonight and it looks pretty good. Problem is when I went to lift the sled I see that the arm is going to hit the little plastic cover that protects the brake rotor. What am I doing wrong? I thought I would ask in case it's something simple before I start putting blocks of wood in there or something.

You can use a wood block the Viper is a bit odd on the lift and I have trouble getting it under the A arms to get started I have to left the front to slide under it. Mine is on wheels that raises it about 3 inches. Once the sled is on it it does teeter a bit so I use blocks to help level it out.

Ok, well at least I'm not crazy then. (not much anyway). I was thinking to just mount some wood right to the top of the arm and leave a gap for where the brake rotor hangs down.

Anybody else?

JS Jacks, air or foot pump operated. Lifts/ Supports up to 1,000 lbs. So,you can lift sled then get on at any time and run the engine on the stand while you sit on it! They actually demo this on the site with an Apex and a Mountain sled.

Just not real cheap, comes with castors, as easy to move as when on the three castor sets! 31" lift capability!
