best speed

I picked up my new to me , completely stock but studded, Attak last spring.
In late spring, with the ice up and perfectly flat and low drag conditions, the sled ran 117mph on speedo which was 103mph on my GPS. My 144" 2002 SRX ran 107mph on GPS the same day.

I have done a few changes over the summer and also removed 2 teeth from speedo drive. I have not had a chance to check top speed yet, since the changes, but I have seen just under 100mph on adjusted speedo so far on short bursts.

Riding conditions today were excellent, -20c
Sled ran 113 on GPS and speedo was reading 110 with the two teeth removed.

Soooo like, remove one tooth & slice another one in half then the speedo should be spot on....wonder if that would actually work ? lmao!

if you change your drivers from 9 tooth to 10 tooth the speedo will be right on every speed. my speedo used to be out 15mph and then i changed the driver to a 10 tooth and it's spot on. if you do change your driver you have to change your track to a 1" lug, it'll also pick up 5 mph for ya.
