Since I am building another nytro this year and most of the money went to a some added power, clutching, gearing, and normal setup of a newly owned sled. I have questions on suspension mods. This is a 2010 nytro rtx. To date I have the hygear torsion spring spacers, and the hygear resi's on the front. I will be running C&A Xtx skis with 8" of carbide and 144 studs down the middle. What are some of the best bang for the buck changes or mods you did on your rtx without spending $800-$2000 on front and rear suspension parts? We ride hard and put on 150-175 miles a day depending on location and trail type. I want to make the rear handle the bumps but not kick like a rabbit as much, and the front to not have crazy ski lift in the corners if possible. I was eying up the skinz front end but most of my funds are going to power and clutching this year. Right now the rear is at medium and the front floats are set at 70lbs, with the limiter strap pulled down a hole. I have ridden my old nytro but that was an 08 with tons of mods. So that would be apples to oranges in comparison. I made these few changes based upon my old sled and the Nytro setup chart on TY. Hoping its a good base line. If revalving works who do you recommend and why? Thanks for the suggestions guys. Btw most riding is done in the Wisconsin twist and turns or the Cadillac mi area.

Personally, I would recommend two things, sell the stock rear shocks, get a set of Zero Pro's custom valved. This may be a break even, or may cost you a few hundred bucks. You could go basic Zero Pro or go wild. The rear shocks caused the death of my Nytro, plain and simple. The other option would be to add a 128" Hacksaw, I ran this track on my 09' S.E. and it really helps balance out the sled. Before doing anything extra, I would thoughly inspect the skid and all components for cracks, worn holes, etc. I had several issues about midway through the second season. These issues alone could cost you your budget.

If you can find a set of Ohlins-- I think Bjowet? was selling last year. Also move the rear suspension back and run a 128 track-- Star Suspension kit. And of course the Excel wheels. Biggest bang for your buck.

Guess I shouldn't of sold my rail extensions and track off the old sled lol.

No need for rail extensions with the Star Kit, you are just moving the entire rear suspension back and you use a 128 track. Took me 2 nights in the garage to complete it. Most of the time spent is in the track and drive removal and replacement.

Replacing the stocker with a ZX2 From A.D.Boivin...

I ordered the 128" relocate kit. It took them a while to answer emails and ship it out but I wasn't in a hurry so no big deal. I still need to decide on a track and get that ordered. I'll take plenty of pictures of the install and post them but it probably won't be until October before I get to it.
