Big News for Totallyamaha.com and RX1.info

Ask about using an entire tube of grease on the skid. Someone said you need to do that. I could see a tube for the entire season.

Aw man, I can see I need to post more so I get to go on these things. :D My parents live in Brainerd too. .............Just funnin ya Tom. Sounds like a fun time. Eric, let me know what you think about that mountain rocket. I might just have to overlook the weight and pony up for one. LaLaLa

I was just out on the TY forum they had a pretty good idea so i thought i would pass it on basically a grading sheet for each sled we get to ride we can add to it but i thought it looked like a good way to go.

If you only get 15 minutes per sled you don't want to have to deal with too much information but at the same time it should help keep their impressions of the machines separate from each other. I would have to imagine once these things fire up it would be pretty easy to loose track of things.

Looks like most will be looking at the short tracks. Please get a good look at the Apex Mountain for us mountain guys. Now that Convert has ridden in the mountians, he should be able to give us a good report on how it sidehills, boondocks, etc. Right?

Dont worry about that Jonny. I'm praying they get more snow next week so they let us drive the Mountain sleds. I will feel it and the mt vector out real well If I get to ride them. Should be fun. ===SRXSRULE===

Sorry SRXSRULE - but we had almost 50 degree temps today in Brainerd - tommorrow and Sunday are suppose to be pushing 40 - no snow in the next 7 day forecast.

They better plan on heading a ways up north for any decent riding.

That is excellent! I hope you get 12" of freshies. It's too bad they do not bring these test rides to us Westerners. It would be nice to have the opportunity to test ride the new sleds. Oh well. Sounds like we will have some great representation at this ride for all the sleds. Good luck and have fun. I can't wait to get the reports from everyone.

Pretty sad only mid February and no snow John Dee says theres a chance for 4 to 8 inches next week keep your fingers crossed from what my dealer said they've been known to ride in the dirt if they have too ;)!

06 Rider position

With the rider now higher up it would seem the sled would be somewhat more tippy, all things equal, which they are not. I'd be interested in how they feel in corner exit on those long sweeping corners where the sled would be hooked pretty well. The new front suspension should help. Also is there any unstable feel due to sitting higher, not locked down in the seat, both cornering and accel/decel. The things people don't like about Revs. I see for 06 they lowered the Rev front end 1.5 inches to get rid of some of that.

It will be rideable, I imagine Yami will be at one of the resorts doing some lake running and a little trail riding. I believe Thursday is a dealers ride so they will probably find the best riding for you.

Everyone - We got home late from the 06 ride, and will post results this week. All i can say is................#$%^&* WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
