Ok I got all of my studs in and backers on. The big nuts that I got with them, when tightened down to the 15 ft lb they call foronly leave the point of the stud left. I mean the threads barely show past the nyloc on the nut. They are only about 1/8 inch shorter than the lugs themself. Is this wrong. Thanks Maxdlx

Thats a BIG nut LOL, they sound a little to large but as long as they won't limit penetration in ice I think its ok.
I think you need a SMALL BIG NUT. They make 2 sizes.

They will allow the stud to penatrate close to 1/2 inch. The top of the nut is 1/8 inch below the top of the lug. Bad part is I got these in a close out type deal. So what does a guy do. Maxdlx
Use them
